Meet Dr. Sonya Wali
Dr. Sonya Wali brings a refined blend of academic excellence, comprehensive surgical training, and heartfelt dedication to patient care. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Spanish, before going on to receive her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia.
She completed her residency training at Saint Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey, where she served as Chief Resident. During her training, Dr. Wali gained extensive experience treating a wide range of foot and ankle conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her exposure to diverse pathology and complex clinical presentations helped shape her into a thoughtful, skilled, and well-rounded foot and ankle physician. Dr. Wali has a special interest in trauma surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and wound care. She is board-qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is committed to delivering care that is both technically precise and deeply compassionate.
