Dr. Navid Sadoughi, DPM, FACFAS is a nationally

recognized, double board-certified foot and ankle surgeon

with certifications in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive

Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery from the American Board

of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). He is

fellowship-trained in Orthoplastic and Peripheral

Nerve Surgery of the Lower Extremity, with advanced

expertise in complex neurovascular reconstruction,

limb salvage, and functional restoration of the lower leg

and foot.

Dr. Sadoughi blends traditional surgical mastery with

cutting-edge nerve reconstruction techniques to restore

mobility, relieve pain, and dramatically improve

patient outcomes. His clinical expertise spans nerve

decompression, nerve transfers, end-to-side transfers,

neurectomy for spastic equinovarus, major flap

elevation, fasciocutaneous and muscle flap reconstruction,

tendon transfers, and advanced limb-salvage

reconstruction for trauma, neuropathy, and chronic disease.

A pioneer in his field, Dr. Sadoughi has performed

the first superficial peroneal–to–deep peroneal nerve

transfer for the treatment of CRPS and a saphenous

nerve–to–posterior tibial nerve end-to-side transfer

for severe diabetic polyneuropathy—procedures rarely

performed in the United States and representing the

forefront of modern peripheral nerve surgery.

He is also a global leader in education and innovation.

Dr. Sadoughi founded and chairs the Peripheral Nerve

Section of the Society for Brain Mapping &

Therapeutics (SBMT), collaborating with leading

neurosurgeons and orthoplastic surgeons worldwide on

advanced protocols for nerve injury, nerve regeneration,

limb salvage, and microsurgical reconstruction. He serves

on both the Board of Directors and the Advisory Board

of the SBMT and lectures internationally on

lower-extremity peripheral nerve pathology.

In addition to his nerve surgery practice,

Dr. Sadoughi provides comprehensive foot and

ankle care, including minimally invasive surgery, ankle

arthroscopy, fracture management, and total ankle

replacement, always prioritizing conservative options

before surgical intervention.

Today, Dr. Sadoughi’s practice integrates state-of-the-art

imaging, biologics, nerve-specific diagnostic technology,

and advanced in-office procedures—allowing him to treat

everything from elite-level sports injuries to the most

complex limb salvage cases. His mission is simple: restore

function, relieve pain, and give patients back their

independence.
