Chevy Chase Foot & Ankle LLC is committed to providing our patients and community with the highest standard of care during this difficult time. We would like to take this opportunity to address some of your questions and concerns that you may have concerning your visit to our office.

Is your office open?

Yes, our office remains open with adjusted clinical hours. We are maintaining office hours daily to meet the needs of our patients. We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation in Montgomery County very closely and will continue to have a staff member in our office every day, to manage appointments, questions and incoming calls to our office. We ask for your patience and cooperation during this time.

What is your office doing to stop the spread of COVID-19?

• Our office will email COVID-19 screening questions to every patient upon scheduling an appointment. It is VITAL that every patient completes this questionnaire.
• We are limiting the number of people in our exam rooms and lobby during appointments. At this time, only the patient is allowed into the examination room. This practice is effective in limiting the possible spread of COVID-19.
• Our staff rigorously disinfects every surface during examinations, following our office and CDC guidelines.
• All staff members will wear masks during your appointment. We ask that in accordance with CDC guidelines, to please wear a mask or face covering to protect yourself and others.

Are there other ways to speak to the doctor?

Our practice has implemented new policies and technology such as Telemedicine to meet the needs of our patients with your safety in mind as first and foremost.

Telemedicine is growing increasingly more popular. It has become the staple for healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic. Telemedicine consists of audio and/or visual communication with your doctor. It is a safe and effective way to discuss lab results, medication management, and address non urgent medical questions.

Considering the recent changes from the Center for Medicare Services, Telemedicine has become an effective and convenient way of getting the care that you need without the need of traveling. The safety of our patients and staff remains our highest priority.

We have equipped our practice management software with Telemedicine and will officially be conducting patient visits with non-urgent issues via Telemedicine on April 16th, 2020. In addition, our staff has also undergone training in the implementation of Telemedicine, so that we may assist you in all your healthcare needs efficiently and safely.

How does Telemedicine work?

Prior to the Telemedicine visit, our system sends you an email with instructions to your virtual “visit.” All you need is a camera, microphone, and reliable internet. If you don’t have access to the internet or camera, we can still maintain your visit via phone. If Dr. Sadoughi determines that your issue may need an in person examination, be assured that our office has taken every precaution to keep “in-person” appointments safe.
